LPDP - Parallax Results: Apparent Lunar Rotation due to Observer's Location
Moving across the Earth's surface - East<->West
This image shows the effect of rapidly switching between two observing sites (one in
Connecticut, USA and the other in Styria, Austria). The apparent rotation is due
solely to the difference in the position of each observer.
Southern Styria, Austria <--> Connecticut, USA Approximately 6,700km separation
Both images were taken at approximately 01h20m.
